Image
Instead of saving up to perform an expensive DNA test. There are some basic genetic traits a man can observe if his child has or not, that way he can know if the child is his or not. Let's talk about the DNA Test first; The DNA Paternity testing is a methodology or Pattern involved with the use of DNA profiles to determine whether a man is the biological father of a child. DNA, Deoxyribonucleic Acid, is a highly advanced technology that has the accuracy of about 99% when determining the paternity of a child. But due to the advanced nature it is very expensive to perform, and as such many men can not afford it even though they want to carry out the test urgently. So here I will be listing alternate ways you can use and test if your child is truly yours. This test require no skills and can be done at home. 1. Tongue Rolling: Having the ability to roll your tongue is a genetic trait, now as a man if you can roll your tongue your child should be able to do so too. But if as a man you ...

Why do some breakups hurt men more than women?

Image
Relationships: why do some breakups hurt men more than women? In recent studies, men have been shown to suffer more than women when a relationship comes to an end. And while some people would not have been surprised to hear this, for others, it was unexpected and even dismissed. Even though men have emotions just like women, this doesn't always appear to be the case and they are often portrayed as having an inability to show emotions by women and the media. Men are often stoic and the emotions that they do express are often limited to a few emotions, such as: anger and frustration. So what these studies have done is created awareness around the fact that although men don't always show their emotions, it doesn't mean that they don't have them. And the reasons they don't show them is partly due to the pressures that men face and what it generally means to be a man. Roles Times are changing and while a man has been seen as the provider for so long, this is a role tha...

Founder of Satanic Church in South Africa speaks out, reveals deep secrets

Image
The co-founder of the controversial South African Satanic Church, Riaan Swiegelaar, was a sangoma before leaving traditional healing for Satanism. Swiegelaar made headlines when the first Satanic church in South Africa was registered in February. He had been a qualified traditional healer for eight years. “My journey started when I met my tata [father], Dr. Alfred Megwa, in 2008. I was already doing psychic work and he felt that I needed to twasa [apprentice] with him in order to take my ‘seeing’ to the next level,” he told The Citizen. After completing his training, he practiced part-time as a sangoma, offering psychic services to clients and rituals to treat emotional and spiritual afflictions. But after learning about Satanism, “I no longer felt the deep draw towards traditional healing. “In Satanism, you do not practice animal sacrifice as you revere life. To take life would be antiSatanic. “I saw myself more as a Satanist than traditional healer and so chose to acknowledge my in...

In the last shot, she winks at the camera – confirming the rumour that she’ll be leaving the show to focus on her studies. 5 strange signs you will become successful

Image
We all wanted to be the successful people we see in magazines, in newspapers, and on the internet. What qualities do these successful people possess that bring them to their success? All successful people have a set of characteristics and threads that enable them to succeed. Here are 5 signs that show you are going to be highly successful: 1. You know what you want, even though you don’t know how to get it yet. Have you ever been so sure of something that you’re constantly bursting with energy? Perhaps you knew you always wanted to be a dancer ever since you were given your first pair of ballet flats, or maybe staring up at the night sky as a lost lonely teenager made you curious about what is beyond the empty void of adulthood that motivated you to become an astronaut. You can be absolutely sure about what you want, but you may not know how to necessarily obtain your dreams yet, and that’s okay. You’re starting somewhere, and that’s what counts. 2. You don’t maintain a work/life bal...

President Cyril Ramaphosa sends a strong warning on alcohol abuse

Image
President Cyril Ramaphosa has issued a stern warning on alcohol-related incidents. Ramaphosa says a war is being waged against women and children in South Africa. He says rapists and killers walk among us and have no regard for the sanctity of life. Of course, it is not alcohol that rapes or kills a woman or a child,” Ramaphosa said. “Rather, it is the actions of violent men but if alcohol intoxication is contributing to these crimes, then it must be addressed with urgency. “We need to draw the lessons from this lockdown and decide how we can protect our society from the abuse of alcohol. “Certainly, we need to provide greater support to people with drinking problems, including through rehabilitation and treatment.” The president says responsible drinking needs to be encouraged es...

Limpopo musician Makhadzi continues to represent her people very well and continues to break records. One of Africa’s biggest music channel, Channel O had an exclusive playlist dedicated to the musician. The 30 minute show called ‘Only Makhadzi’ was dedicated to playing only her music. This is said to be a first for a Venda artist. Fans kept singing her praises and hoping for a longer playlist next time. However many are livid at the fact that she is the first artist from Venda to have her own slot, saying artists from Limpopo deserve the same recognition as any other artists from other parts of the country. One fan was not impressed at her being labelled ‘a first’ anything as many others before her should have received the same treatment. Insinuating that the music industry looks down on musicians from other tribes. “This is it. You are part of the problem. Channel O should acknowledge our musicians now and then. It is not something we should celebrate, we are happy for Makh...

Coronavirus drug: This is how it will be used in South Africa

Image
South Africa will look at the use of the drug, dexamethasone, as a means of the treatment for severe Covid-19 cases in the country. Minister of Health Dr. Zweli Mkhize said in a statement early on Wednesday morning (17 June), that the drug had seen a successful trial in the UK. Dexamethasone is a steroid that has been used since the 1960s to reduce inflammation in a range of conditions, including inflammatory disorders and certain cancers. It has been listed on the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines since 1977 in multiple formulations and is currently off-patent and affordably available in most countries. For patients on ventilators, the treatment was shown to reduce mortality by about one third, and for patients requiring only oxygen, mortality was cut by about one fifth. While the full findings of the trial are still required, South Africa’s Ministerial Advisory Committee (MAC) said that use of the drug may be considered for patients with a confirmed diagnosis of Covid-19 who ar...

South Africa lockdown: These are 11 ways regulations will change on Level 2

Image
Although no immediate change to our lockdown phase is expected this week, Cabinet will be meeting to discuss the relaxation of several rules which apply to Level 3. This further easing of the regulations has now got some South Africans talking up the chances of a move to Level 2 in the near future – but what can we expect? Current regulations ‘to change this week’ – but SA will remain at the same lockdown phase for now. The transition into Level 2 from our current restrictions won’t be a major leap. Moving into Level 3 at the beginning of this month brought about many ‘sweeping changes’, whereas our next step forward is likely to involve a few significant tweaks, rather than a complete overhaul. However, it seems moving into the next Alert Level opens up our personal freedoms. Allowances for travel are a lot less stringent at Level 2, and it’s believed that 97% of all surviving businesses go back to work at this stage. These are both major positives for an economy that’s been battere...
