Next phase of school reopening to take place next month: Angie Motshekga

The next phase of school reopening will take place next month. Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga says the department will work to ensure everything is ready for pupils who return.

On 6 July, most primary and secondary schools will be able to operate. Schools for pupils with disabilities will also be reopening next month.

The department says schools are allowed to deviate from this plan for health, safety and social distancing reasons.
