Meta Kekana is such a baby girl – Pictures

Image
They say the best mineral is that found underground and the cheap or fake one is found on the surface of the earth. Meta Kekana is the type of mineral that is hard to find and is found underground. You can go to Twitter or Facebook but she can not be found as she is only found on Instagram. She is a baby girl who as a man you would love to share your life with and as a woman you wish you was her. Meta has that extraordinary heart-melting body, which might give you goosebumps the moment you have a glimpse of it. A lot of people on social media wonder how and what was used when God created her. We talk of fashion, her body works magic in almost every type of style, be it, skirts, shorts, jeans, trousers, dresses or bikini, she just fits well.

South Africa hit by a 4.3 magnitude earthquake. Some citizens in Durban, South Africa were left a bit shaken after the city experienced a minor earthquake today. According to the United States Geological Survey, the “non-earthquake incident” happened just after 13:20, and measured 4.3 magnitudes. The Council of Geoscience’s Mahlatse Mononela told News24, “However, we are still gathering information and will revert back with details.” The tremor is believed to have occurred following an earthquake in the south Philippines that was measured at a 6.5 magnitude on the Richter scale. Faith Nketsi looks so remarkable in her mini light Dress – Pictures

Image
Following her just aired Tv reality show, #HaveFaith, businesswoman and event hoster, Faith Nketsi has already started to show off her boss moves even in fashion. Like always, she never disappoints when it comes to wearing and on these fresh snaps rocking in a mini light dress, she is looking so amazing. Accompanied by a breathtaking pose, whereby she is sitting down on the stairs letting all out (her beautiful legs and th!ghs). Obviously she has let those legs out so she can prove how heavy she is. From the pictures, she can be seen holding beautiful flowers which have also contributed to the perfect view of the picture. Taking to her Instagram, she said, ‘Flowers everyday is my dream 🥰‘. By the way, a lot of these beautiful women love flowers and we are not so sure what really is behind those flowers. There seem to be some sort of attraction between these two, beautiful women and flowers.

Mbuyiseni Ndlozi repeats Gordhan is a dog of white monopoly capital

Image
This comes after Malema was found not guilty of hate speech against Pravin Gordhan. Moments after the Equality Court dismissed Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan’s hate speech application against EFF leader Julius Malema, EFF spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took to Twitter to reiterate that Gordhan was “a dog of white monopoly capital”. These were the same words used by Malema in November last year when he was outside the state capture commission of inquiry in Parktown, which resulted in Gordhan lodging a complaint against him. Ndlozi, who tweeted that Gordhan was not above the law, was not the only one basking in the EFF’s victory. The EFF’s deputy president, Floyd Shivambu, also weighed in to reflect that the EFF had defeated the application of the “God of STRATCOM”.     The DOG OF WHITE MONOPOLY CAPITAL, Founder of the Rogue Unit, Grand Master of the CABAL, god of STRATCOM, the nepotist who’s destroying State Owned Companies Jamnandas Gordhan was defeated and should pay cost

Zahara still wishes to sign The Qwabe Twins

Image
Singer, Zahara still has an interest in signing ex-Idols contestants Viggy and Virginia Qwabe. She made a promise to the twins, whilst they were in the running to become the next South African idol, that she would help get their careers up and running. Despite the dramatic exit from the competition by Viggy, after her sister Virginia was eliminated, many feared that we might not hear from the twins ever again. With Zahara’s interest in working with them, they seem to have an opportunity to gain relevance in the industry. The bummer is that the musician cannot get a hold of them. She spoke to TshisaLive saying, “After the singing competition, they know what it is that they want to do. They know that they are talented in and know what their dreams and aspirations are.” Believing that they have a story to share, Zahara wants to sign them to her record label and will give them the freedom many recording labels restrict musicians of. Zahara sees much of herself in the twins and has made n

Watch – Trevor Noah slams Kanye West for saying black people are brainwashed

Image
Trevor Noah has hit back at Kanye West’s claims that Black Americans were “brainwashed” into voting a certain way and many who got involved in hip-hop became materialistic. Kanye sparked debate this week when he said in a radio interview that black people were brainwashed because they had been promised welfare benefits. “We’re brainwashed out here, bro. Come on, man. This is a free man talking. Democrats had us voting Democrats with food stamps for years,” he said. He also took shots at hip-hop culture. “The culture has you so focused on f*cking somebody else’s b*tch and pulling up in a foreign car and rapping about things that can get you locked up and then saying you about prison reform … C’mon, man. This a free man talking.” Trevor weighed in on the debate during a Between The Scenes segment this week, and lambasted Kanye for having double standards. “I was watching that, and I was like: Are you shitting me? Like, of all people. I’m not saying everything he’s saying is wrong, but

Actress Thuli Phongolo exposes how much a local Celeb offered her for a publicity relationship

Image
Thuli Phongolo has seen it all and done it all, and this week she took a moment to give her fans a taste of what goes on in her life and let’s just say, some of it is seriously wild. The 25-year-old actress took a break from serving killer looks from her recent Halloween to share the story of how a musician tried to bribe her into faking a relationship just so he could promote new music. Releasing and rolling out music usually requires some creativity, and sure, Thuli is a fantastic actress and could have pulled this off, but even the most optimistic fans would have to admit that this was just one step too far! The former Generations star took to the timeline to share all the juicy details when she said. “Kana, there’s an artist that offered to pay me a 100k to act like we’re dating prior to his album release… my team and I have heard it all! Ayincinci We first had to take a moment to laugh very hard before some serious questions were asked. Half of her followers wanted to know why s

More than R70k raised to help struggling SA music legend Steve Newman

Image
Fans and friends of veteran musician Steve Newman have raised more than R70,000 through a crowdfunding initiative to help the struggling star avoid having to seek refuge in a homeless shelter. Steve, a founding member of the popular African group Tananas, shocked many when he took to Facebook on Wednesday to reveal that he had hit on hard times because of the dire state of the music industry at the moment. “Recently a friend of mine, whom I’ve known for 61 years, lost his job and along with his son, sleeps at a night shelter. Since the economic crunch, the music scene has changed drastically with dwindling audiences and low income.” He added that he himself could soon lose everything and move into a shelter for the homeless. “I’ve had to ask friends for help to pay rent and buy groceries. We have to move in a month and probably won’t have cash for rent and deposit for a new place. We have run out of food and pet food so I think we’re very close to going for the night shelter option.

R110m for refurbishments to MPs’ houses and R540m for improvements at Parliament

Image
After spending almost three-quarters of a billion rand on the three parliamentary villages, its upkeep and transport the past 10 years, the Department of Public Works is planning another project, worth R110m, to refurbish houses for MPs. The department is also planning to demolish and replace the prefabricated houses containing asbestos at the parliamentary villages at a later stage. Then there also are projects to refurbish the parliamentary precinct of at least R540.4m. The department briefed the Joint Standing Committee on Financial Management of Parliament late on Wednesday, shortly after Finance Minister Tito Mboweni presented a grim medium-term budget policy statement. Mzwandile Sazona, chief director of the department’s prestige portfolio – which includes Parliament and the parliamentary villages – said they would start in January with the refurbishment of 245 of the housing units at the three parliamentary villages. This will cost R110m. ‘Long overdue’ He said the parliamenta

Penny Lebyane talks about #IdolsSA

Image
Known for not mincing her words, Penny Lebyane still maintains that black contestants on Idols SA season one, back in 2002, were apparently set up for failure. In an interview on MTV Base’s Behind The Story this week, Penny reflected on when she was a judge for the singing competition that year. Host Pearl Thusi alluded to reports provided by producers of the singing show at the time stating that Penny had made a “mistake” when she said that black contestants could sing better than white ones. Without giving Pearl a chance to finish her question, Penny interjected and said that her comments were not a mistake and she stood by her claims. I’m sorry but it’s true, there’s no mistake that I said [that]. It took so many years for the black kids to be seen and heard, and for black people to start voting. “Yeah, I said that black kids can sing better, it wasn’t a mistake. I said, the black kids could sing better. At that time Idols SA was on M-Net and black people could not have access to

BREAKING | Malema's 'dog of white monopoly capital' comments against Gordhan not hate speech - Equality Court

Image
The Equality Court has dismissed Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan's hate speech case against EFF leader Julius Malema with costs. Gordhan hauled the EFF leader to the Equality court, following a scathing public attack in November last year. During an address to EFF supporters outside the Zondo commission of inquiry into state capture in Johannesburg, Malema took aim at Gordhan by referring to him as - among other things - a "dog of white monopoly capital", and told EFF supporters to be "ready for war" against Gordhan, News24 previously reported.

Former #IdolsSA contestant Nosipho: I don’t think the competition is rigged

Image
Talk about being the comeback kid! Idols SA season 14 top six finalist Nosipho believes getting booted off the show made her stronger. Picking up the pieces after being eliminated from the singing show wasn’t easy for the singer, but she is grateful for the tough lesson, which made her realise just how badly she wanted to sing. She recently released her new single, Thembalami. Idols SA has come under scrutiny recently with the elimination of fan favourite Virginia Qwabe and her twin sister Viggy pulling out of the competition. Producers rubbished claims that votes had been rigged and that the pair were bullied. Nosipho said that she didn’t experience any violence or bullying of any kind during her time on Idols SA. “Last year when I was on the show, I had a good time with other contestants. I didn’t experience what is alleged this year. Maybe that’s what they are going through, but for me, I didn’t go through such,” she said. Nosipho added that she believed the singing competition

Masechaba Ndlovu in trouble on Twitter for Supporting Sjava

Image
Whilst social media was up in arms over Lady Zamar’s allegations that she was abused by her ex, Sjava, the conversation brewed many trending topics. One of them being #MenAreTrash. One musician who also found herself trending was Babes Wodumo. Not because of anything she said this time, but because of people likening her situation to that of Lady Zamar’s. The spotlight was also on Masechaba Ndlovu. To help refresh your memory, Masechaba was the one who, during a radio interview with Babes, revealed that she was allegedly abused by Mampintsha. She received heavy backlash from the masses and Babes even told her to mind her own business. Masechaba did exactly that. Whilst Twitter was divided and debating over Lady Zamar and Sjava, she mized the whole drama and instead added salt to the wound. Sticking to a promise she made a few days ago – which was to post pictures from Sjava’s one-man show, #OneNightWithSjava – Masechaba did just that, but her timing could not have been worse. Social

NUM threatens more power cuts over Eskom split

Image
South Africa’s National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) threatened on Wednesday to cause more power cuts over the government’s decision to forge ahead with a plan to break up struggling state power firm Eskom. Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan presented long-awaited details of the plan to break up Eskom and open up the power sector to greater competition. NUM is angered with Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan’s decision to go ahead with the unbundling of Eskom,” the union said in a statement on Wednesday. It made demands, including that officials abandon the plan to split Eskom and cancel power purchase agreements with independent power producers. “If these demands are not met we will shut down electricity generation, transmission and distribution, as such plunging the country into darkness,” the statement said. The NUM, one of the largest unions at Eskom and part of the Cosatu union federation aligned with the governing party, fears the plan to split Eskom into separate

Tebogo Lerole hints at his future plans to marry Khanyi Mbau

Image
Tebogo Lerole and Khanyi Mbau have been together for a long time and it seems the pair is ready to take things to the next level. Taking to his Instagram page, the Kwela Tebza group member hinted at his future plans to marry the self-proclaimed Queen of Bling by posting a picture of the two dressed in matching black and white outfits (which could easily pass off as a bridal gown and wedding suit), and in the caption he let Khanyi know how she qualified to be his wife. “You have surpassed every test to become Mrs Lerole,” Tebogo captioned the post. Not everything has been rosy for the couple, last year Khanyi disappointed many of their fans by announcing their break-up in a since-deleted heart-wrenching Instagram post. Since then the pair have reunited and are as inseparable as ever. Speaking to Move!, Khanyi revealed how the two eventually got back together. “We broke up alright but it we were comparatively civil to each other. Later on, we decided to retrace our steps trying to f

President Cyril Ramaphosa has appointed Advocate Elaine Zungu as the new Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) in the KwaZulu-Natal. Zungu has been acting in the position for months after the departure of Moipone Noko. Noko’s tenure was tainted after the withdrawal of charges against senior ANC politicians Mike Mabuyakhulu and Peggy Nkonyeni who faced corruption charges in the so-called R144 million ‘Amigos case’. In a statement on Wednesday, spokesperson to the President Khusela Diko said the appointment is made towards the fulfilment of Ramaphosa’s commitment to strengthen the criminal justice system as part of the national priority of the fight against crime and corruption. “Adv. Ramaphosa is satisfied, within the context of the National Prosecuting Authority Act, that Adv. Zungu is a fit and proper person, with due regard to her experience, conscientiousness and integrity, to

Judgment expected in Gordhan, Malema hate speech case

Image
Judgment is expected to be handed down in the case between Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan and EFF leader Julius Malema on Thursday. The ruling will be delivered in the Equality Court. Last year, Gordhan lodged a case against Malema over remarks he made outside the state capture inquiry venue. Malema accused Gordhan of going to state-owned enterprises to remove black people and of being a “dog of white monopoly capital”. Last month, a judge dismissed Gordhan’s bid to strike sensitive reports from the court record. Gordhan should he win wants Malema to donate R150,000 to charity, apologise and pay costs. Malema has argued that his remarks don’t amount to hate speech.

Arrest those who desecrated 80 Muslim graves and tombstones – Mandla Mandela

Image
ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe said the party viewed the desecration as not only barbaric, but as an act of provocation against the Muslim community. Mandla Mandela has called for the arrest of those who destroyed 80 Muslim tombstones and graves in the Mowbray Muslim cemetery in Cape Town. He also condemned its desecration in the strongest terms. The violation of this sacred space is an evil act; it is an offence against religious sensibility, and defiles the values of peace, respect and dignity afforded to all citizens by our Constitution. This heinous act involving the destruction of some 80 tombstones and graves inflicts trauma on the families of the deceased whose resting places have been so grossly violated. “We appeal for calm and implore the Muslim community to allow the law to take its course as such wanton acts of criminality must be dealt with by the full might of the law so that the perpetrators may be brought to book,” Mandela said. On Wednesday, cemetery staff told News24 th

According to a statement by Jack Bloom – DA Gauteng Shadow Health MEC – 3832 patients died last year in these hospitals as a result of 10 741 Serious Adverse Events (SAE). “This shocking information was disclosed by Gauteng Health MEC Bandile Masuku in a written reply to my questions in the Gauteng Legislature,” said Bloom. “An SAE is defined as an event that results in an unintended harm to the patient by an act of commission or omission rather than by the underlying disease or condition of the patient,” he explained. WATCH | Five hot topics from Tito Mboweni's mini-budget speech

Image
Finance minister Tito Mboweni delivered the nation's mid-term budget speech on Wednesday. He described the state of the economy as flat. In February, economic growth for 2019 was predicted to be 1.5%. But now it's expected to be just 0.5% for the year. Mboweni said expected revenue stood at R1.73-trillion - R53bn less than expected. He also touched on reducing government expenditure and providing bailouts for state-owned companies, while urging South Africans to pay their taxes.

Tito Mboweni resigns from social media because of abuse

Image
‘Given the amount of abuse I go through on these social media platforms, I have decided not to be part of it,’ said the minister. Finance Minister Tito Mboweni wrote a Facebook post at around 2am on Wednesday morning saying he had “resigned” from social media. “Given the amount of abuse I go through on these social media platforms, I have decided not to be part of it. I have resigned. I will read your postings BUT you will no longer read my posts. So long my friends. I will only re-post other intelligent offerings. It was good but the time has come to say Goodbye,” his message read. About an hour after that, however, he was back to posting on Facebook, proving he did not take his own resignation very seriously. He posted pictures and described a “very good meeting” with President Cyril Ramaphosa at his house to discuss the mid-term budget speech. What “abuse” exactly the minister is referring to is unclear. He will deliver the mid-term budget speech later on Wednesday, a difficult ta

Police still searching for prophet after discovery of three bodies in Pretoria cave

Image
‘I realised that this guy isn’t well. There was something missing in his mind,’ a witness said of the mysterious cave dweller. Seventeen months after three men died in a cave near Pretoria in 2018, the police are still searching for a man, only known as the prophet, who is believed to have lived in the cave at the time the bodies were found. In May 2018, the police recovered the men’s bodies from a cave near Vlakplaas, Pretoria, after one of the men’s family members had been searching for him since he disappeared in April 2018. All three were members of the Zion Christian Church (ZCC) and may have visited the cave to pray. The property owner, who did not want to be named, told News24 it was not uncommon for people to visit the cave to pray, but that no one ever stayed. This changed when an unknown man, only identified as the prophet, decided to make the cave his own holy ground, claiming his ancestors had called him to it. The prophet News24 spoke to several people who had interactio

At the end of the day, it can all be over, man.” With the words, “September 1, 2019, I was involved in an accident, my world was changed forever” appearing on the screen, Kevin showed footage of his recovery in the hospital when he was learning how to walk and move his body again.  The video cuts to the comedian doing physical therapy as he worked on recovering from his back injuries. “When God talks, you got to listen. Lady Zamar airs Sjava’s Dirty Laundry – Your precious Zulu man is a liar and a cheater

It all began over the past weekend when Sjava hosted his trending concert, One Night With Sjava, in Pretoria. The sold-out show will definitely go down as one of the biggest concerts of the year so far but the one moment that got people talking was when he introduced his mom and his wife. Yes, his wife. Man attends friend’s wedding and inspires Mzansi by breaking barriers

Image
A man shared a touching story which served as a reminder of the beautiful South African spirit - He explained how a black family embraced him ten years ago, even though he's a white man - The family had a wedding and the man was invited as a special guest and even had the honour of being one of the speakers at the ceremony  Despite all the reported doom and gloom as well as the political hype, South Africans generally get along for the most part. In fact, many people are blessed to share amazing relationships that traverse racial and social barriers. Brendan Brokensha detailed one such special relationship that he shares with a family he befriended a decade ago.  Brokensha met Sifiso and the Zikhali family when he moved house ten years ago. He was immediately embraced by the family despite their differences in race. Sifiso, who Brokensha regards as a brother, recently got married and invited Brokensha as a special guest. Both Brokensha and his fiancee were bestowed the

Parliament gives embattled Nomgcobo Jiba seven days to make representation

Image
Parliamentary committees on Tuesday decided to forge ahead with a process to decide on whether or not to reinstate advocates Nomgcobo Jiba and Lawrence Mrwebi. In April, President Cyril Ramaphosa decided to remove Jiba and Mrwebi from their positions as deputy national director of public prosecutions and special director public prosecutions respectively. This comes after retired Judge of the Constitutional Court Yvonne Mokgoro found the pair not fit to hold office. When Parliament asked the pair to make representations, Jiba did not make her representation and instead asked to be reinstated with her full benefits. However, her application was dismissed. Briefing the justice and correctional services portfolio committee, parliamentary legal advisor Siviwe Njikela said there was no legal impediment preventing the national legislature from proceeding with its process. Even if an appeal is filed, there is no interdict,” Njikela said. He advised the committee to consider providing additio

Image
Eskom board chairperson and acting chief executive Jabu Mabuza has denied allegations that he is also a supplier at Eskom. As I sit here, I am not doing business with Eskom,” he told MPs on Tuesday. Mabuza was initially asked how Eskom was addressing the issue of employees found to be doing business with the company. He said there were about 80 such employees but that a decision had been taken to end the practice. “We took a decision that on March 30, no one should be employed by Eskom and be a supplier to Eskom. And we offered amnesty and said people will be given an opportunity to make a choice whether they want to supply us or whether they want to be awarders of tenders but they certainly can’t be both. Mabuza said they then decided that anyone found to be supplying Eskom post that date, whilst being an employee, would be subjected to a process that may lead to instant dismissal and furthermore their company would be blacklisted from supplying Eskom or doing business with any othe

Dlamini has been ill for several months now and was hospitalised in Durban. Chairperson of the portfolio committee on minerals and energy Zet Luzipho told MPs on Tuesday that Dlamini is doing well. He said despite earlier fears about Dlamini’s illness he had been assured at the weekend that the deputy minister will soon return to work. “We were assured that he will start work soon,” said Luzipho. Luzipho said it had been mentioned in the past that he was fighting for his life, but he was making good progress. Dlamini was appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa into his Cabinet after the May elections. He previously served as the President of Cosatu before joining government.
