JOZI FM Afternoon Drive presenter Refiloe Motsei wants to remind people of the value of friendship. The Friendship Party with Refiloe Motsei is a concept created to celebrate people who have been by her side before she was on TV and radio.

Why Radio?
I did not choose radio, radio chose me and I’m loving every second of it. I have the opportunity to inspire, inform and entertain.

Embarrassing moment on radio?
None, not really , I don’t push myself too hard, every fluff, a sneeze, a cough, or a tongue twister, I just learn from it, I embrace it and move on, I’m human.

Talents?
I dance. I am an actress.

We serve, it’s for community, the brand Jozifm is aligned with my purpose, Serving.
I spend time with the people that love and care about me , it keeps me grounded, eating good food, I love good food so I’ll go to restaurants trying out some of the best meals they have, or I stay home and try cook. And I rest, rest and more rest, keeps me looking good.

I’m in love with Soweto because?
Firstly I was born here, it’s home, it’s all I know. The diversity, culture, food, history and endless opportunities.

If you could change one thing about the world around you, what would it be?
I would try help people accept others who are not like them. People are judgmental. I would also work on changing how men still look at women as weak, and objects of s.e.x.

Name 5 people would you like to host at a dinner party and why?
American media proprietor Oprah Winfrey- to draw inspiration.
My Parents- they have never experienced much in life .

Who would you bring back from the dead and why?
I would bring Nobody from the dead, it was meant to happen, it was Gods plan.

What superpower would you have and what would you use it for?
Super powers I would have would be to read people’s minds.
