A few years ago a New York-based stylist began revealing details of her surreptitious affair with former Minister Malusi Gigaba. Buhle Mkhize produced text messages and email correspondence between herself and Malusi as well as his wife, proving that she and the minister had been seeing each other for a year.

Thembisa Mdoda’s ex-partner (because stories on whether or not they were married differ), Atandwa Kani accused her of cheating in their relationship. Matters were further complicated by a DNA test that proved her children are not his.
