Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma sworn-in as acting President

Minister of Cooperative Governance & Traditional Affairs Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma has been sworn-in as Mzansi’s acting president. This comes after both president Cyril Ramaphosa and deputy David Mabuza embark on their international working visits.
Ramaphosa is in Brazil to attend the 11th BRICS summit, while Mabuza is in Uganda for South Sudan consultations.

Ramaphosa is leading the South African delegation to the 11th BRICS Summit to be held from 13 – 14 November 2019.

https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.jsIn a statement on Wednesday, deputy president spokesperson Matshepo Seedat said there was progress made towards the total resolution of conflict and bringing stability in South Sudan.

South Africa has been providing support to all efforts meant to enhance the complete implementation of the Revitalized Agreement on South Sudan in line with the responsibilities of the Special Envoy,” said Seedat in a statement.
