Mzansi actor Mike Mvelase caught up in fabricated story once again

There have been reports that Mzansi actor, Mike Mvelase, might be in financial trouble and could face spending the holidays on the streets. According to ZAlebs, the Sunday newspapers made the recent reports. Mike is one of the most likable actors in the country, but sometimes being popular isn’t everything. In order to survive in this day and age, you have keep your finances up to date by paying your bills on time, and saving a little extra, if you can.
Failure to do that, could lead to a bad name, and perhaps some negative exposure in the latest tabloids too. This is the scenario that Mike may have found himself in after Sunday World claimed the actor could be homeless for the holidays, after he was kicked out of his home. The publication said the bank had repossessed the actor’s home before putting it up for auction.
The Sunday papers claimed to have called Mike to discuss what had happened, but all he said to them was: “My brother, I’m talking to the lawyers about this matter, but you are being unfair, you can’t be talking to me about this matter. Please my brother, this is no laughing matter.”
However, ZAlebs through a little investigation, discovered that the reports could have been fabricated. The story had been pedalled by a number of fake news sites, all containing the same quotes from the actor. And the rumour seemed to have begun way back in 2016 and now appears to be doing the rounds again – adding further doubt to the credibility of the reports. Unfortunately, ZAlebs was unable to get hold of the actor or the publicist they tried to reach.
Meanwhile, three months ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Mzansi rapper, Emtee, had finally spoken out about his financial status, which has left him without a home or a car. The rapper spoke to TshisaLive that he is doing what he can to survive.
Emtee revealed that his wife and kids have moved in with his in-laws while he tries to find a new place for them and also negotiate an exit from his record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment.
News of Emtee wanting to exit the label went viral a few months ago after the rapper took to Twitter to share the hashtag, #FreeEmtee, and listed his frustrations with the label, which included being told who he could and couldn’t work with. According to TshisaLive, Emtee confirmed that he wanted to leave the label, but on an “as clean as possible” basis.
